The 27 of July, 2019, there was an incredible night for tasting our food speciality and taste the wines of Podere Fortuna, a local property with vineyard, that produce mainly Pinot Noir, a typical variety of grapes in Mugello. We take care of our guests, for the dinner we selected the best quality products; for first the entre. Our Chef Claudio Fiorenzano offers battered cod, chips and parsley cream with the wine “Greto alla Macchia”, 2015. For the appetizer we selected Scottona chopped meat, pine nuts, pecorino cheese and fried egg combined with “Coldaia” 2015. For first course, inspired by our territories, there was the “intrigo mugellano” with squid ink, a type of italian pasta, with crunchy sausage, hazelnut and truffle matched with “Fortuni” 2014. The main meal was “bocconcino” pork meat cooked at low temperature with reduction of “Assieve” wine, onion and almonds served with ” 1465″ of the year 2012. For dessert we served our “cantuccini” a type of cookies habitually served with Vin Santo, a fortified wine. A special thanks to attendees for first, and the sommelier Silvia Bacci to explain us the incredible essencies of their wine and endorsed at the event.
